Terms & Conditions

By sending your request to join the MARILAKE online class, you (parents and students) are agreeing to all the class rules, to all the Terms and Conditions below, and  consent to receive emails and information from MARILAKE.

 

The online class is for the designated students only, who have already registered and have received the online class invite from MARILAKE, any other persons are not allowed to attend, except for parents with young students under the age of 10. There will be a charge for others who want to attend.

 

MARILAKE will setup and run the online classes using Zoom:

  • Parents/students must agree and follow all the setup/structure and guidelines provided.

  • It is the parents’/students’ responsibility to ensure that they have the proper hardware and software requirements to be able to participate in the online class.

  • MARILAKE is not responsible for any misuse by the parents/students.

  • MARILAKE is not responsible for any problems caused by using Zoom.


MARILAKE reserves the right to make any last-minute changes relating to the online class’s operation if necessary.

 

The online class will be available and opened at the scheduled time ONLY. No exception and no make-up classes will be provided for missed or un-attended classes.
All online classes will be recorded for MARILAKE’s security, control and monitoring purposes only. This is to ensure there are no misuse, no non-invited person attending the class, to assist in problem investigation, and the class has been operated as per MARILAKE’s guidelines. The video will be destroyed after a period of time. You (parents/students) are consenting to the release of your video image by virtue of your participation. The recording can NOT be distributed and can NOT be shared due to privacy issues.

MARILAKE reserves the right to make additional updates to the Class rules under Online Class Guidelines, and Terms and Conditions in the future as required.
 

MARILAKE is not responsible for any uncontrollable technical problem that may occur during the online class session. For example, if the online session is paused and stop due to an Internet or hardware issue, students should be patient and stand by, to wait for the session to resume.

 

MARILAKE shall not be liable or responsible to parents/students for any matter arising from the use of the online classes or the products or services associated with it.
 

MARILAKE shall not be liable for any computer viruses or other disabling computer code that may be loaded into user’s computers. Although this website, Zoom service and Google document link should be secured, you are strongly advised to obtain and use appropriate anti- virus and security software. MARILAKE reserves the right to discontinue this website and online classes, or limit, terminate or suspend your access to the web site and online classes at any time, with or without cause or notice. Upon such termination or suspension, your right to use the website and online classes will immediately cease.

 

MARILAKE owns the information on this web site and the online classes.

 

MARILAKE reserves the copyright of the entire contents and design of the web site and online classes.
