Guidelines
Joining Classes
Teachers will always try to email the online class link to registered students. Students can simply click on the link and select “Open” to join the online classes. Use the same link in the email to join the class online every Saturday at the scheduled time. When joining an online class for the first time, students need to download the Zoom App to participate. It is recommended that students join the class a few minutes earlier to ensure all the setups are completed ahead of time. Students can download the Zoom App ahead of time.

Class Rules
The online class is only for the registered students, who received the online class invite from
Marilake, other persons are not allowed to attend, except for parents with young students
under the age of 10. Students/parents are not allowed to forward their online class invite to other persons.
Students must sign in the online class using their full name as registered with MARILAKE.
Students must dress appropriately.
Parents/students must verify and ensure that their equipment and setup of email address,
computer, video, audio (speaker and microphone) and internet are working ahead of time.
The online session may pause and stop due to an internet issue or technical issue. Students
should be patient and stand by to wait for the session to resume.

For Students Under 10 Years Old:

Younger students under the age of 10 should be supervised by parents. However, parents are not permitted to talk excessively, to interrupt, or to disrupt the class, as this would be unfair to other students. Only reasonable questions are allowed.
System Requirements
Students can join the online class with a computer, tablet or mobile device with speaker and microphone available.
Utilizing Zoom for Classes
Download Zoom application and click on open file to install, then put the Zoom icon shortcut on your toolbar or desktop for future easy access.
